  i just want to know how many people from canada are here.

  when i started attending the meetings, i was in college.

  i would use any excuse i could to get out of the watchtower study.

  i couldn't believe they wanted me to read the article at home and underline the answers and then i had to sit and listen to them read it aloud again and give the same exact answers they underlined in the magazine.

  Not very and it always has been that way, remember good JWS. don't go to collage or university, de-tuning personal intellect is part of their programing

  if post secondary education was supported they would risk loosing employees /slaves and publishing hours

  The specific wording they used regarding universities is that they are godless and immoral places, again using applied fear to control the followers.

  JW Convention week...pure hades.

  the jw lady i work with went to summer convention last week and the following days were pure sheeeeite.

  all week i could hear her a row over trying to fill everyone with her crazy spirit.

  i could not find my mp# until thursday and by then i was totally pissed off.

  I would file a complaint to the company owner or your boss, I know of quite a few companies that do not tolerate religious preaching at the work place. It's called worker rights !

  I think Crumpet has a very good idea also in affect to embarrass the woman in front of others, and it's an easy task with this stupid religion.

  if god existed and came to you and admitted actually he was fallible and a bit of an ego problem but was undergoing therapy to deal with his jealous and violent disposition and was genuinely sorry for making such a mess of the world by insisting on worship of himself, could you forgive him?

  and if he asked you to be part of a committee to sort out his mess - what would you suggest he started with?

  i always tried to my best as a jw, to observe what the watchtower and bible told us "not to do".

  then i became inactive and lowered my guard, and didn't care as much.

  i think that my first jw sin, was playing lotto, then talking to disfellowshipped ones in my congregation, then posting on apostate forums, and then giving blood.
